The aroma of bergamot is citrusy and crisp. This is the ultimate morning oil that promotes wakefulness and a sense of ease
Bergamot's bright scent is uplifting and crisp. Bergamot oil contains linalool, a naturally occurring terpene with many beneficial effects. It is the same constituent that gives lavender its famous relaxation effects. However, in bergamot the other side of the coin is this oil's crisp citrus aroma. This special combination gives bergamot its unusual ability to be uplifting and calming at once.

Did you know? Bergamot is a hybrid between lime and bitter orange. It is grown almost exclusively in the Calabria region of Southern Italy, which has therefore been a destination of perfumers for centuries. Bergamot is one of the most prized ingredients used in perfumery. Bergamot is also what gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive flavour.
